NEW YORK – Taking Shape: Abstraction From the Arab World, 1950s-1980s is an exhibition curated from the collection of The Barjeel Art Foundation, Sharjah, UAE. The range of works reflect the wide range of nonfigurative art practices from the Arab World over four decades. On view at NYU’s Grey Art Gallery until April 4, 2020, the exhibition has artists in Zaat’s collection such as: Dia Azzawi, Farid Belkahia, Kamal Boullata, Samia Halaby, Hussein Madi, Aref El Rayess, Juliana Seraphim
