In this work, Hussein Madi explores the circle as both structure and symbol. Repetition, symmetry, and rotation generate a rhythmic field where abstracted figures appear to revolve endlessly around a central axis. Evoking ancient Mediterranean, Mesopotamian, and calligraphic traditions, the composition transcends narrative to become a visual ritual, at once dynamic and meditative. Madi’s restrained palette and precise geometry create a tension between movement and stillness, suggesting cycles of life, continuity, and an eternal return.
